About a week or 10 days ago our numb-nuts president, when asked what he was going to do about $4.00 per gallon gas, said that he hadn't heard that gas prices had reached that yet. Well, as you point out we're getting pretty damn close. Is it just a coincidence that his family's fortune is derived from the oil business and that during the last 8 years the oil companies have made record profits. When asked whether he has done a good job as president I'm sure his family and their cronies think he's doing just great.
Bush has done exactly what he set out to do. He started the war to get the oil. Well, he got the oil prices up, just like he wanted, who cares about 4000 men and women? He had a goal and that goal was achieved. Doesn't matter how, doesn't matter at our countries expense. But what's next? McCain?
